The work of the 8AM architects' office under the direction of architect Juris Lasis. This project can be proud of an excellent example of how an apartment building can create privacy equal to a detached house in combination with excellent modern architecture. Residents of the house will be able to enjoy peace, which will be ensured by the small number of apartments in the building, excellent sound insulation and private entrance to each apartment from the common veranda.
All apartments have comfortable loggias with fully opening glazing, located on each side of the building - combined with panoramic windows, it is an opportunity to experience the complete harmony of nature in your home. Within the utilization of the first floor apartments there is also a separate green areas provided up to 30 m2, while in the spacious apartments on the 3rd floor there is a roof terrace with the area of around 90 m2. The apartments fascinate with their spaciousness and functionality – they have a separate utility room for washing clothes and storing less frequently needed things, as well as the master bedroom has its own separate bathroom combined with a wardrobe area.
Class A energy efficiency is ensured by very high-quality VST construction technology patented in Austria and ventilation with individual recuperators with heat and moisture recovery. Solar panels are placed on the roof of the house. Both the VST system and the Zehnder recuperators are certified as Passive House components. Concrete panels form the monolithic structure of the building and ensure high building density and heat impermeability. Effectively resolved cold bridges reduce heat loss to a minimum. The house will be heated by an underfloor heating system, which, in turn, will be heated by a heat pump.
Thanks to construction using VST (permanent formwork) technology patented in Austria, there are millimeter-precise walls, interfloors and other building structures, which form a monolithic, dense and durable structure of excellent quality. It is the basis for a long-lasting, energy-efficient, fireproof building with excellent sound insulation. A building built in this way will stay without gaps and cracks even after several decades.
VST technology is particularly popular in Western Europe and Scandinavia. "STATS group" has already built 9 buildings using this technology in Latvia, and more than 40 in Western Europe.
The golden beach area, which is only 200 meters away, is wider than in the central part of Jurmala, there are also fewer vacationers, which allows you to enjoy a peaceful and undisturbed vacation. The beach of Asari is well-equipped - walking paths, changing rooms, playgrounds have been created. A pine forest park is right next to the project.
The center of Kauguri is less than 10 minutes' drive away, the center of Majori and Dzintari is a 15-minute drive away, and everything you need for everyday life is here - grocery and other shops, a pharmacy, kindergartens and schools, a number of cafes and restaurants, as well as a high-level SPA centers, Dzintari concert hall. Educational institutions - both municipal and international schools - are located a short drive away. About 20 minutes drive to the airport.
