Apartment reservation commenced in Solitude Park project

The project Solitude Park is situated in Zolitūde neighborhood, 32 Jāņa Endzelīna Street. The five-story building will house 40 comfortable apartments with an intelligent layout and balconies, loggias and terraces. The size of the one-, two-, three- and four-room apartments offered for sale is from 49.5 to 95.5 square meters. All apartments will have complete interior finishing and high-quality sanitary fixtures like PAA, Grohe, Gustavsberg. The basement floor of the building contains storages for each apartment, as well as 13 underground parking spaces. A special advantage of the project is the plot of land with an area of almost 9,000 square meters, which will contain a park, footpaths, a playground and outdoor parking spaces.

The apartment building is to be commissioned in spring 2014.

“The high-quality materials used in the construction and finishing of Solitude Park, the convenient apartment layout and the green surrounding environment make the project a suitable choice for a demanding city dweller. Until now, the development of new projects has been the fastest and the selection has been the largest in Imanta neighborhood. With the construction of Solitude Park, the offer of modern apartments is expanded also in Zolitūde,” underlines Latio Development Project Sales Manager Evija Segleniece.

The owner of Solitude Park is one of Estonia’s largest construction companies Maru Ehitus AS;the project is being implemented by the affiliated company District Z SIA. Maru Ehitus was founded in 1991;the company has great experience in the design and construction of mainly commercial properties both in Estonia and elsewhere in the European Union. The general building contractor of Solitude Park is MK Holding SIA.

Taking into account the real estate market development trends, the growth of the economy and the increased activity of local residents and non-residents, Maru Ehitus in 2012 made the decision to purchase several land properties in Zolitūde. An important factor in taking the decision was the lack of new, high-quality housing projects in Zolitūde neighborhood.

“By assessing the real estate market development and price increase in Tallinn, where the price of apartment in new projects have raised by 20% if compared with previous year and apartments are reserved already during the construction stage, as well as by analyzing the economic indicators in Riga, we assumed that the real estate market in Latvia will continue developing, demand will grow, and buyers will choose the highest-quality housing, rather than the cheapest. Our company is beginning with a single pilot project, but after its successful completion we intend to continue offering the residents of Riga high-quality apartments,” says Maru Ehitus board member Andres Kaur.

The residential building was designed by the architecture firm DEPO projekts SIA. The layout of each apartment is made to ensure maximum functionality and ergonomics. Thanks to the position of the building and the apartment layout, all apartments receive both morning and evening sunlight.

Exclusive apartment sale rights under the concluded agreement have been granted to real estate company Latio.
