“The segment of the highest-class office spaces for rent in Riga is characterized by an insufficient supply – the vacant space percentage ranges within 2-3%. In the next two years several new high-class office centers are expected to be put into operation, although they will not presumably reduce the demand, since the major portion of office spaces in unfinished centers are currently rented. Vacant office spaces in Aloja Business Centre will ensure a wider choice for the companies in need of qualitative and luxury spaces in the centre of Riga,” said Aldis Riekstins, Head of the Customer Service Department.
The main lessees in the office centre are the Latvian branch of “Nordea Bank AB”, the law office “Klavins Ellex” and the Latvian representation of the chemical sector company “Uralchem” of Russia.
The Aloja Business Centre was put into operation in 2009, being one of the most distinctive buildings of this type in Riga. The building was created out of environmentally-friendly materials, it is of a very high energy-efficiency level and accessible to the people with special needs. The building ergonomics is also at the highest level, ensuring the relevant environmental microclimate, noise reduction and natural lighting in daylight hours.
The building is distinct also in its six-level underground parking space, being a unique engineering project and the deepest parking space in the Baltic countries. Its lowest level is at the depth of 12 meters under Krisjana Valdemara street.
The quality and modern design of the office building is confirmed by numerous awards it was granted, e.g. The Best Building of the Year in Latvia (2009), The Most Energy Efficient Building in Latvia (2011), The Most Sustainable Building in Latvia (2011), Energy Efficiency Certificate, Gratitude for a Friendly Attitude towards Bicyclers, Gratitude in the Golden Crutch 2009 competition for the observance of humanity principles and accessible environmental solutions of the project, etc.
