The building at 12 Vilandes Street is located in the Silent Center of Riga, away from the city noise or crowds. This area is famous for its diversity of Art Nouveau architecture. The building is situated in a residential area between Elizabetes, Vīlandes, Vidus and Rūpniecības Streets. The building was erected in 1909 according to the design of the famous architect Konstantins Peksens in the rational and applied Art Nouveau style.
