While the rise in EURIBOR rate forces people to consider purchase of a new property and the amount of their potential loan commitments more thoughtfully, financial institutions also look for more customer-friendly solutions. To encourage the shift towards sustainable solutions, Swedbank is offering 0% bank rate loans for purchase of Class A and A+ homes, as well as for construction of private houses as of April. The 0% rate will be valid for two years following the date of financing.
According to Swedbank, the volume of loans for energy efficiency solutions granted to natural persons more than doubled last year compared to the year before. Buyers' interest in new projects is consistently high, with a large share of clients looking for move-in ready homes in energy-efficient projects so as to save on utility
bills.
The deadline to apply for Swedbank loan for the sustainable goal is 30th September this year, offering the opportunity of getting a loan at 0% bank added rate for the first two years (+ 6-month EURIBOR, if applicable) following the date of financing. The financing will be granted after loan application assessment, with the interest discount being applied to a total of eight types of loans and leases.
