Market value means the estimated amount for which a property should exchange on the date of valuation between a willing buyer and a willing seller in an arm’s-length transaction after proper marketing wherein the parties had each acted knowledgeably, prudently, and without compulsion. How long drafting of a valuation report will take
- Valuation of an apartment in 2 to 3 business days (Riga, its closest municipalities and Jurmala), rest of Latvia in 3 to 5 business days.
- Valuation of a detached house or a building plot in 3 to 5 business days.
- Valuation of commercial properties in 4 or 5 business days.
- Valuation time of larger properties depends on its complexity (starting from 5 business days).
The timing is given for the work that is required for preparation of the valuation report after actual examination of the property and reception of the documents.
Price for real estate valuation
Price of valuation depends on the type of property and specific requirements regarding drafting of the valuation report. We have defined standard valuation price for standard types of properties.
