Open House event in the fully renovated Art Nouveau centre building Barona Residence
On March 7, from 2p.m. to 5 p.m. everybody is welcome to visit and make reservation of an apartment in the historic Art Nouveau building in the centre of Riga, the intersection of Kr. Barona iela and Dzirnavu iela, at the address Kr. Barona iela 24/26.
The Barona Residence is located in one of the most sought-after places in the centre of Riga, close to the Old Town and the beautiful parks of Riga, such as Vērmanes Garden, and Esplanāde.
The centre of Riga offers excellent opportunities to enjoy cultural life: the National Opera, theatres, museums, art galleries and concert halls are all found within a short walking distance. The surroundings feature well-developed infrastructure, several shopping malls, and a wide variety of leisure experiences.
Educational institutions are situated a few steps away – prestigious secondary schools, and the leading state universities. The city’s public transport is also easily accessible, providing connections to other parts of Riga.
The building dates back to 1910. Its architect Jānis Alksnis is the author of several beautiful buildings constructed in the early 20th century in Riga. Renovation of Barona Residence was completed in November 2018.
The bulk of the apartments have found their masters already. There are still available five two-room apartments featuring fully finished walls and ceilings, new wooden windows, wooden parquet floors and high-quality tiles, as well as installed plumbing fixtures and new electrical wiring with switches and sockets. Each apartment is equipped with a heat meter.
Elevators are installed in the stairwells, and shared areas have been renovated. The apartments are made ready for interior design according to the new owner’s taste. The buyers will hold title to apartment property and proportional undivided shares of the building and the land plot.
